Aerotek has partnered with a local company in Walterboro to help in the search for a Service Technician with strong mechanical ability to load, unload, deliver and set up pump equipment and accessories.
Requirements:
- Mechanical experience and ability to utilize a variety of different hand tools.
- Ensure equipment being delivered and/or picked up is loaded on the truck for safe over-the-road travel.
- Very customer oriented.
- Review all items being delivered or picked up with the customer to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Perform daily visual inspections of delivery equipment and documents any service needs.
- Maintain current and accurate log books.
- Maintain mileage and fuel logs as required. Assist in the set-up of pumping equipment.
- Participate in a rotating after-hours emergency response on-call schedule (1 week a month)
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
General Requirements:
- Willingness to set-up equipment correctly is very important
- Basic mechanical ability and working knowledge of diesel powered equipment
- Good sense of direction and ability to read a map
- Basic reading and mathematical skills
- Legible handwriting
- Ability to communicate clearly on a cell phone/ two-way radio transmitter
- Desire to learn new skills as needed
