An aerospace company in Philadelphia, PA is looking to hire a helicopter/ rotary wing Flight Line Avionics Technician to interview and start work as soon as possible.

Direct Placement Opportunities.

Pay rate - $25-26/hr. OVER TIME is available

Relocation package
1. $10K worth movement of household goods.
2. 30 days paid housing
3. $1K resettlement allowance
4. Mileage reimbursement, food reimbursement, housing reimbursement on commute to Philadelphia, PA.

Summary of Position:
To assist in the transfer of helicopters from the Production line to Flight Line. Perform incoming inspections. Perform Operational and Functional Electrical ATP’s trouble shoot and repair electrical installations as necessary. Assist in the installation interior and custom components for example: PSU’s, A/C electrical components, ICES radio’s.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform Operational and Functional ATP’s
Prepare Aircraft for flight inclusive of pre flight and flight checks
Conduct test flight and flight ATP’s
Ability to perform complex repairs and trouble shooting and wring out of harnesses
Ensure cleanliness of hangar area and ‘clean as you go’ work practices
Prepare Aircraft for customer delivery

Education
HS diploma or equivalent. BA/BS in Engineering is highly desirable.

Experience
5 years rotor wing / helicopter aviation experience.

Competencies & Attributes
1. Some understanding of aviation technology from tech school is a plus.
2. Ability to learn and grasp new concept quickly is critical for this position.
3. Good written and oral communication skills.
4. Good pc skills.
5. Intercultural awareness, ability to create and maintain relations

Licensure/Certification
A&P is a plus but not necessary; Maintenance training for aviation a must
