As the Health Care Pricing Analyst within UnitedHealthOne you will compile revenue and statistical data for a variety of projects, such as producing monthly variance analysis reports, revenue forecasting, identifying medical trends, and performing premium and membership trend analysis. Your other responsibilities may include expense cost projections, unpaid claim reserve cost estimates and compiling various financial reports. As an Pricing Analyst, you will work with the Actuaries to implement and test rates for new products as well as rate changes to existing products into the appropriate systems.


 


Your primary responsibilities will include:


-Analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations on data through complex analytical models, tools and databases


-Applying appropriate analytical tools to the data and performing Actuarial and/or statistical analysis


-Providing detailed summaries, reports, and recommendations to management.


-Assisting with rate filings

Requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree


- At least an intermediate level of proficiency working with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, calculations. pivot tables, charts, graphs, etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred experience:
- Experience working in finance or the healthcare industry 


- Programming experience in SAS, SQL or R
