Room Attendant/Housekeeping Part Time - Full-time / Part-time

The Crowne Plaza Hotel, located in the exciting Arena District, downtown Columbus has immediate openings for part-time opportunities with our housekeeping team. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Warmly greet all guests.
•  Ensure the safety of all guests and guests’ belongings.
•  Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms according to daily assignment and standards.
•  Must be able to work well with others in a diverse working environment.
•  Stock and organize housekeeping cart at the end of each shift.
•  Cleans a total of 14 to 15 credits during a scheduled shift. 1 credit = 1 departure room or 2 stay over rooms.
•  Accommodate/ service stay over guest by refreshing their rooms, removing trash, dirty linen/towels and making beds. Vacuums and dusts if necessary.
•  Prepare/clean departure rooms for new arriving guests by removing all trash, changing all bed linens and bath room terry, cleaning and disinfecting bathroom area, replenishing guest room amenities, dusting common areas in room and vacuuming room.
•  Removes room service trays from guest rooms (Stay over and departure rooms) when needed.
•  Helps vacuum outside of guest rooms to ensure cleanliness of guest hallways at all times.
•  Room cleaning standards must be followed.
• Must have flexible availability in scheduling to include weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hour shift. Must be able to lift, push, and pull a moderate amount of weight.
• Position requires bending, reaching, and kneeling to perform duties.
