Qualifications:
- Possess mechanical ability to trouble shoot, maintain, and rebuild production equipment.
- Possess skills related to welding, electrical, electronic, plumbing, and pneumatics.
- Understanding of 120 volt single-phase and 480 volt three-phaseelectricity.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Occasionally work at heights of 40+ feet.
- Must be safety conscious at all times.
- Must be a self starter with minimal supervision.
- Must be a team player with excellent work ethic.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and written.
- Technical School degree – a plus
- Feed mill experience – a plus
- Industrial maintenance experience – a plus
- Personal tools needed to support mechanical ability- a plus
Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and maintain records.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Enter work information into the maintenance tracking files.
- Keep work area and equipment clean and organized.
- Collaborate with parts room and Maintenance Manager on proper parts inventory.
