The Senior Air Medical Transport Specialist serves as a key member of the
FrontierMEDEX Aero-Medical Intelligence team with a primary focus on
consistently evaluating and enhancing our international and domestic aero-
medical transport network: these resources are key to the successful management
and coordination of complex medical evacuations worldwide.
This includes intelligence-gathering on air ambulance and medical escort
companies; obtaining and assessing their credentials (reviewing their
professional & aviation liability insurance, operating licenses, medical
equipment...) and conducting on-site audits to evaluate their operational capabilities
as well as their quality management processes in aviation, medical and ethical
business practices. He/she will also be responsible for negotiating
agreements as well developing relationships and solving provider issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree OR a High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of experience with Air Medical Transport Logistics.
- Ability to Travel 25% of the time, including Training at the Towson, MD office and possible International travel.
- 2+ years of experience in Air Medical Transport Logistics.
- 1+ year of experience working with reporting tools and generating effective reports.
- 1+ year of experience working with Microsoft Excel - Data Entry, sort/filter, basic formulas; and PowerPoint - Create presentations from scratch.
- 1+ year of experience negotiating contracts or agreements with providers
- Experience working in an International role.
