Transportation Coordinator

Our Client in Dayton, NJ is looking for 2 Transportation Coordinators.

Position SUMMARY: The transportation coordinator will be responsible for day to day communication with our retail locations and Wholesales/B2B customers in regard to delivery coordination and follow up for North American division (US and Canada). She/he will work with internal and external partners to troubleshoot any issue that may arise.





Responsibilities include:

The Transportation coordinator will be in charge of:

• Ensure that the deliveries for stores and WHS/B2B customers in the US and in Canada are made on time and in full
• Partner with retail supply team for stores replenishment
• Partner with Customer service team for WHS/B2B customers
• Main liaison with external carriers
• Manage the border crossing process for international shipments
• Troubleshoot to handle all the delivery issues and escalate to the appropriate party when necessary (internal and external communication, re-allocation, claim, etc…)
• Ensure that the shipments have been properly invoiced
• Anticipate the holiday seasons (Christmas, Mother’s day, etc…) by defining the best schedule with retail team and carriers
• Improve the existing follow-up tools and processes

Job Requirements

SKILLS NEEDED:

• Previous experience in a transportation company is preferred
• DOT/Hazmat employee with packaging certification would be a nice to have
• Knowledge of Supply Chain process
• Good Excel knowledge (Access and SAP knowledge would be a plus)

Background Check and Drug Test will be completed prior to starting work.

Two positions are available:

• Direct Hire- $48-$50k
• Temporary 4 months- $18-20/hr
