Employees in this position include
those responsible for initial Triage of Members, Administrative Intake of
Members or managing the Admission/Discharge information, post-notification, and
working with hospitals and the Clinical team. This function includes managing
Incoming calls, managing requests for services from Providers and/or Members,
providing information on available Network services, and transferring Members,
as appropriate, to Clinical staff. Also manages the Referrals process,
processes Incoming and Outgoing referrals, and Prior Authorizations. This
function also includes Intake, Notification and Census roles.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Answer Inbound calls in a Call Center and document all
calls. - Make Outbound calls to enroll members into Wellness
programs. - Schedule appointments.
- Collaborate with Wellness Coaches and Nurses.
- This Clinical Administrative position will support HCBS
Waiver and Health Plan programs -Intermediate (or higher) level of
Microsoft Excel skills and SharePoint knowledge needed. - Extensive work experience within own function.
- Work is frequently completed without established
procedures. - Work independently.
- May act as a resource for others.
- May coordinate others' activities.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Ability to create, copy, save, and send utilizing
Microsoft Excel and SharePoint experience. - Experience with creating Job Aides and/or Manuals for
Standardizing processes. - Experience in a Medical and/or Office environment(s).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
- Advanced level of Microsoft SharePoint skills.
- Any experience working with Kansas Medicaid or Waiver
programs.
