Our client in Cranbury, NJ is looking for an Inside Sales Specialist. The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting and driving current and new sales to the client's customers primarily through telephone and e-mail communication.

Cores Duties and responsibilities include the following:
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from outside sales representatives, internet inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, business directories, and other resources.
  • Makes outbound sales calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads, respond to customer requests, and sell product.
  • Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert customer calls into sales and customer request fulfillment.
  • Serves as liaison between customer base and outside sales team where beneficial and necessary.
  • Prepares quotes, customer complaint reports, and updates customer profile data when necessary in CRM system.
  • Maintains marketing brochures, samples and other sales support information and coordinates delivery of these materials to the customer base for the sales team.
  • Builds and maintains customer relationships.
  • Prepares reports utilizing CRM and Epicor systems as requested by direct supervisor.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into CRM system.
  • Works with outside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
  • Travels to and attends trade shows and assists marketing in the coordination of logistics.
  • Assists marketing by maintaining customer database lists for E-News and other mailings.




Job Requirements

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Associate'sdegree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or sixmonths to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalentcombination of education and experience .

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Abilityto read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenanceinstructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups ofcustomers or employees of organization. Bi-lingual ability in Spanish a plus.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Abilityto calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions,proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebraand geometry.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Toperform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of ContactManagement systems; Internet software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheetsoftware and Word Processing software.
