The Learning Management System (LMS) Associate is responsible for a variety of logistical and systematic processes involving the LMS. The LMS Associate relies on their extensive LMS proficiency to ensure training processes, procedures, and practices related to the use and administration of the LMS are applied in accordance with enterprise governance standards. The LMS Associate works on complex projects related to training/compliance offerings. This individual utilizes their independent judgment with wide latitude to ensure the needs of the business are fully met by the LMS. The LMS Associate also develops solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Qualifications

Client Services
• Establish strong working relationships with internal customers looking to leverage the LMS utilizing excellent written and verbal skills to do so.
• Develop strong relationships with LMS administrators.
• Participate on teams to provide recommendations or explain system impacts to business process changes.

Learning Management System Administration & Consulting
• Manage functional compliance activities within the LMS.
• Ensure all audiences are properly assigned for compliance related activities within the LMS.
• Ensure all training activities are properly assigned based on customer audience identification.
• Stay current with tool changes and understand full functionality and behavior of software.
• Serve as liaison between internal users and LMS administrators.
• Set up and maintain learning activities in the LMS for multiple learning programs.
• Enroll and/or cancel students for learning events.
• Create functional saturation reporting subscriptions utilizing existing templates.
• Serve as a SME for ad hoc LMS reporting requests.
• Continuously look for ways to leverage tool functionality by educating learning administrators on new reports, connecting to user groups and staying current on tool usage.
• Participate in functional testing for system upgrades, enhancements, and patches.
• Support business compliance needs and requests related to LMS record audits.
• Assist in implementing learning governance guidelines, standards and best practices.
• Actively participate in the LMS User Group to ensure governance guidelines, standards and best practices are implemented consistently.
• Make recommendations for process improvements, develop and maintain process documentation and ensure all documentation, guidelines, and training are up to date and available.

Vendor Management
• Partner with LMS vendor to ensure effective delivery of services.

Project Management
• Participate on LMS project teams to deliver assigned LMS projects, including integration with performance and talent management systems and processes.
