Manpower is currently hiring an Assembler to support our client's team in Rocky Mount, NC!
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary
JOB REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or GED 2-3 years assembly experience in a manufacturing environment, aerospace preferred Experience with manual torque wrenches, micrometers and calipers required Able to lift weight up to 30 lbs. Good attention to details Able to work and communicate well with others at all levels
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:Length of Contract: 8 months Hours: 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm) or 3rd shift depending on business needs Training will occur on 1st shift up to the first 6 weeks
