Electrical Maint Tech - Full-time / Part-time

Manpower hiring for a Electrical Maintenance Technician(Journeyman Electrician). Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm, On-Call Rotation Duties: -Under general supervision, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical controls. Lays out and installs new electrical secondary service including panels, breakers, disconnects, and switches. -Dismantles electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures. -Installs and maintains various types of motors, lighting fixtures, generators, circuit breakers, and transformers. -Installs and monitors performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement. -Installs grounding leads. -Interprets blueprints; works for sketches or verbal instructions. -Layout, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjusts electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers and conduit. -Mounts motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and completes circuits according to diagram specs. -Repairs, installs, replaces, and tests electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments. -Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. -Diagnosing and repairing electrical controls, industrial motor control centers and programmable logic controllers. -Reading commercial electrical blueprints. -Performing inspections of electrical components and distribution controls. -Experience with PLC's - automation of electromechanical processes, such as control of machinery on factory assembly lines. Education and or Experience: -High School Diploma or GED with 2-5 yrs exp. directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. -Journeyman Electrician's License: MN Journeyman A License -Experience in Food Manufacturing preferred. -Experience in PLC's, VFD's, Robotics, and Automated Packaging Systems.
