HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

Position Summary:

Responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper in supervising the daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments.

Essential Functions:

1. Maintain the consistency of the room inspection program.
2. Inspect rooms, lobbies and halls on a daily basis.
3. Assist the Executive Housekeeper with the daily distribution of work assignments.
4. Revise daily work schedule depending on occupancy.
5. Assume responsibilities of Executive Housekeeper in his/her absence.
6. Communicate with the front desk and other departments to ensure that guest special requests are met.
7. Clean rooms when needed or requested by the Executive housekeeper
8. Supervise room/suite attendants to ensure that guest rooms and suites are being cleaned in a timely manner.


Additional Responsibilities:

- Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the hotel, including, but not limited to, these contained in the employee handbook.

Education and Experience:

- Experience in training.
- Previous housekeeping experience.

Skills and Abilities:

- Ability to perform al housekeeping duties including cleaning rooms/suites and laundry.
- Good communication skills.
