About this job
Our schedule and needs:
We have full time help from grandparents but need a nanny for occasional days throughout the month when the grandparents are away or unavailable. This will be an irregular schedule with not much advance planning for the days we needed so we are looking for somebody who is interested in occasional extra hours. Currently we live in Somerville, MA but will be in Arlington, MA by November of this year. We want to find somebody who can work in both towns. There is public transportation via the bus or a train and then walking but it may be easier if you have a car.
Our child and what we are looking for in a caregiver:
We have a smart and very easy-going and active 16 month old. We are looking for a caregiver who will take our child to the playground, do activities with her (at home or outside of the house), and has an energetic, playful, and warm caring style.
