The Senior Learning Strategy Consultant is responsible for working with senior business leaders across the organization to define critical employee learning strategies that will accelerate talent and improve business results. The main focus of the role is to identify and define training initiatives that will increase business unit performance. The end-to-end solutions defined by the Senior Learning Consultant must augment employee skills specific to that business unit’s talent requirements, enhancing operational results by improving leader, manager, team, and individual performance, while increasing employee retention

The Senior Learning Strategy Consultant plays an integral role in conducting skills assessments and determining talent strengths and weaknesses. The Learning Strategy Consultant will also work with the Human Resources Business Partners, Talent Management consultants, and Vice Presidents and Directors within the business to proactively identify key training-related initiatives that will support the execution of talent strategies to promote the successful achievement of business objectives.

• Consult with the Human Resources Business Partner, Senior Business Unit Leadership, and Talent Management Consultants to gain deep understanding of business unit initiatives, talent strategies, and organizational challenges.

• Conduct thorough needs analyses to assess the state of the business, identify the key performance and skills/knowledge gaps, and recommend the appropriate training solutions available to drive key organizational results. Evaluate business strategies, succession plans, hiring plans, and skill assessments to determine the most effective training and development strategies to support the business needs. Define and document appropriate solutions. Present solutions, gather feedback, revise accordingly, and build consensus and buy-in to implement these strategies.

• Partner with the business to provide consultation on execution strategies to use for integration and reinforcement of the strategies.

• Lead the analysis and reporting of effectiveness and quality measures across recommended learning programs. Analyze all relevant data and take the appropriate actions to improve overall quality and effectiveness of our programs.

• Participate in the design and implementation of branding, marketing, and communication strategies to build awareness of the organization’s curriculum and learning programs.

Proficient skills using Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power Point, and Project.

Ability to influence directors, vice presidents, and senior vice presidents by demonstrating professional maturity, business knowledge, and self-confidence.

Strong analytical skills to evaluate and interpret data and/or refine existing methods and techniques to reach conclusions.
