Plumbing Designer - Full-time / Part-time

The designer will perform plumbing design calculations, sketches, isometric risers for sanitary and domestic water systems, technical comparisons and other technical work as required; coordinate project assignments with other engineers and technicians; review drawings supplied by vendors, clients, and engineers and architects and recommends necessary changes; research code issues and work with City, State, and County officials, and research design options and document findings for engineers.

Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience including:

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD 2012
• Some prior use of Revit (not necessary)
• Knowledgeable of NFPA codes (National Fire Protection Association)
• Plumbing design
• Experience with large commercial and industrial facilities
• Word, Outlook and Excel familiarity
