Patient Education Manager needed for a direct hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Mission Hills, CA
Top Skills Should You Possess:
- Patient Education Experience gained as an RN or Registered Dietician
- Management Experience
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide leadership and management of the education department's operations
- Manage the performance of staff wellness educator' and CDE's
- Lead the development/implementation/evaluation/modification of current education programs
- Ensure efficient allocation and use of department resources
- Provides one-on-one and group teaching of wellness programs as needed
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics or California Registered Nursing license
- Three (3+) years of experience teaching health and wellness
- Management experience
- Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE)
- Certified Insulin Pump Trainer (CPT)
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
