Primary Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze statistical, financial and membership data in support of Underwriting, Actuarial and utilization analyses
- Interpret and analyze healthcare claim experience data from various sources
- Create and update existing reports within client databases
- Be able to interpret requests and get the customer what they need
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of health care experience working with claims data and medical codes
- 2+ years of experience in performing data analytics
- 2+ years of working experience/knowledge with SQL, SAS and/or other statistical programs
- Intermediate level of experience with MS Access including formulas and calculations
- Intermediate level of experience with MS Excel including formulas, calculations, charts, graphs, etc.
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience with TOPS or other claims payment systems
