We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Quality Control Analyst.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Requirements

To perform attribute, analytical or microbial testing of components, incoming raw materials, purified water, and bulk and finished Liquids and AP/DEO products using established testing procedures to ensure that when released it met specifications. Quality Technicians will take responsibility for the preparation of laboratory solutions and maintenance of laboratory equipment and laboratory documentation to meet or exceed GMP requirement for laboratory. He/She will also be responsible for disposition of raw materials & products in SAP & LENS. 1. Perform wet, instrumental and microbiological testing under supervision using current Interspecs methods on raw materials, in-process and finished product and equipment cleaning to assure it met specifications. 2. Interpret test data and make disposition of raw materials or products in SAP & LENS. 3. Communicate sampling status, test results and product disposition status to manufacturing departments. 4. Prepare and evaluate experimental lab batches of products for information & evaluations when required. 5. Perform general laboratory & equipment cleaning on a scheduled basis. 6. Perform reports that will be distributed within the Supply Chain/R&D network. Conduct tests to determine quality of raw materials, bulk intermediate and finished products. May conduct stability sample tests. Calibrate, validate, or maintain laboratory equipment. Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms. Monitor testing procedures to ensure that all tests are performed according to established item specifications, standard test methods, or protocols. Science degreed individuals are needed to start immediately. We prefer Chemistry degrees, however biology or other sciences will be considered. Will work 12 hour night shifts but the first 1-2 months training session would be an 8 hour swing shift M-F 9am- 5pm.
