Ambridge, PA plant Blender Job Description: 1. Education and Experience a. High School Diploma (Some college or technical school is preferred) b. Basic computer skills (Ability to use the computer, printer and scanner) c. Verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills required . Detailed oriented e. Forklift experience . Work effectively in a team environment g. Lifting of over 50 pounds is required 2. Main Blender Responsibilities
a.Receives orders from Operations Supervisor
b.Responsible for blending bulk lubricants . c. Receive, read and understand blend sheets . d. Read and execute blending procedures . e. Ability to understand and adjust blends for viscosity and metals (requires understanding of fractions and simple math)
f.Conduct Quality Control laboratory testing and understand results .
g.Make decisions on laboratory tests in absence of plant supervisor .
h.Connect hoses, run pumps and other machinery in order to manufacture lubricant blends . Ancillary Responsibilities
a. Loads truckload and less than truckload carriers.
b. Complete manufacturing, QC and shipping checklists
c. Operate forklift
d. May be required to enter information into computer system, use the printer and scanner
e. Participate in safety and production meetings.
f. May be required to assist in other plant activities (packaging, inventory management)
Primary Equipment/Technology required
a) Forklift
b) Pallet jack
c) Pumps and filters
d) Lab equipment (viscosity bath, x-ray machine, etc)
e) Computer, printer, scanner

• Ability to load containers/seavans properly
• Ability to use a Fork truck/pallet jack well
• Understands dunnage and how to create and use it properly.
• Understand S/R documentation
• Understand that quitting time is when the jobs done, not at 4 PM. I believe that’s what they call work ethic.
