Job overview

The Sales Coordinator works under the supervision of and assists the Director of Sales and other sales managers in the handling of accounts.

What you will be doing

  • Answering telephones, placing calls and Internet prospecting.
  • Processing letters, proposals and contracts in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining filing system and tracing work in accordance with normal operating procedures.
  • Working with groups (including meeting them upon arrival) and handling special event bookings in Hotel meeting room(s).

Requirements

  • You must be able to work varied hours to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft programs; Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc and capable of learning Hotel operating system.
  • Must have a minimum of one (1) year of hospitality experience.
  • Strong written and verbal skills, detail oriented, and organized.
  • Professional demeanor and attire.
