Y-Leave Cafe & Vending has immediate opportunities available for experienced food service workers. Current positions available: Cashier Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting all customers and treating them in a respectful and helpful manner. Ensure an accurate accounting of all transactions, collections, and disbursements. Itemizes and totals food and beverage orders or rings food and beverages checks into register. May reconcile checks and cash receipts with total sales to verify accuracy of transactions at the end of work shift. Assist with set up, clean up, and stock work as needed. Prep Cook Responsible for breakfast, lunch and catering meal preparation. Also responsible for the presentation of the foods on the steamtable. Assists in the preparation of deli meats and cheeses. Responsible for maintaining a sanitary work station. Food Service Workers Help cook and prepare food for breakfast, lunch and catered meal events. Help prepare all salads and performs baking needs. Wash dishes, stock food and supplies, clean kitchen and mop floors. Maintain a sanitary work station and cleans dining area. Grill Cook Responsible for serving all grilled items. Portions out food items prior to cooking, and prepares all grilled breakfast and lunch items. Helps prepare items for Caterings and other stations as assigned by management. Minimum Qualifications > Be able to communicate with co workers and/or customers > Be able to write, read, and utilize math skills > High School Diploma or equivalent > Have a passion for customer service and be solutions oriented > Dependability and punctuality a must > 1 year food service/cooking experience is desired for the grill cook position Requirements Must be at least 18 and have a High School Diploma or equivalent Must have Food Handlers card before starting work Y-Leave Cafe & Vending is an Equal Opportunity Employer
