Software Test Technician needed for a long term contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in our client in Beaverton, OR.
Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Automation, Stress and Load tests
- Scripting Language
What You'll Be Doing:
- responsible for performing Automation, Stress and Load tests on different platforms.
- Engages with the Engineering teams in testing software updates and test cases execution.
- Manage and optimize the test application to be tested under a user environment infrastructure.
- Recommending new test cases and maintains / automates test procedures to properly validate system under test.
- Respond to all system problems, with emphasis on how to duplicate problem encountered during testing.
What You Need To Bring To The Table:
- One to two (1-2) years of experience with Software Engineering
- Two (2+) years as a software validation technician or similar role using Python or Perl
- Familiar w / Drivers and FW features and update / flashing process
- Able to execute a schedule driven, pre-defined test plan
- Experience at debugging issues found
- Ability to submit issues found into a defect database with clear description and steps to reproduce
- Good communication skills, works well in a team environment, etc.
