Our client in Sturtevant, WI is hiring for a Supplier Quality Engineer!
Required Skills:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
3+ years of experience within a Supplier QE role dealing specifically with Castings, Machining and International Suppliers
Experience within a TS 16949 environment (Automotive)
Job Description:
The Supplier Quality Engineer with support with sourcing of new projects, newly released components, resourcing of components and supplier development. They will be involved with Suppliers to ensure receipt of quality part, ensure customer satisfaction and provide production and cost improvement opportunities for the company.
The position will also involve managing APQP process for the company, Supplier Quality Evaluations (SQE) of new and potential suppliers and reviewing ECNs and implement actions.
Work Enviroment:
This position is very heavy with documentation and office work. There will be some travel involved (30-40%) both domestic and international.
