Aerotek is currently accepting applications for a permanent GIS Technician position with a growing company located in Debary, FL. Candidates will be performing the following functions:
*Update and/or create maps and/or design drawings using GIS or CAD software products such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD and Civil3D.
*Read and/or interpret maps, blueprints, survey documents or sketches.
*Review and proof information contained on maps or drawings and drawing packages for accuracy.
*Perform a variety of mapping and engineering support activities such as providing field sketches for piping design and construction.
*Performing edits/changes to the project to reflect the correct placements
