Shipping Clerk (Shipping and Receiving) - Full-time / Part-time

Shipping Clerk – Distribution Shipping and Receiving – Warehouse Associate – Warehouse Worker

Job Responsibilities
As a Shipping Clerk, you will examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy. You will record shipment data such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.

Other responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate role include:

• Preparing documents such as work orders or bills of lading
• Corresponding with establishment representatives to rectify problems
• Packing, sealing, labeling, or affixing postage to prepare materials for transport
• Using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter
• Contacting carrier representatives to make transport arrangements

Job Requirements:In the Shipping Clerk position, you must be able to work well in a team setting and under immediate supervision. You must be highly organized and have great communication skills.

Other requirements of the Warehouse Associate role include:

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• 6 months or more of Shipping and Receiving experience
• Knowledge of common Warehouse procedures
• Forklift and/or pallet jack experience, a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds using proper safety methods
• Must have consistent and reliable means of transportation
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
