Pet Technician

We have an opening for a Pet Technician.

Must be able to work various shifts per week and be available weekdays and weekends.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Background check required.

Wage: 9-10 per hour

We are seeking pet technicians, who are the solid foundation of our company and are vital to its success. A successful Pet Technician is one that is a pro-active team player, genuinely loves pets, and is not afraid to get a little dirty with dog hair! Job requirements/specifics:

-Full-time or variable hours employment (between 35-40 hours per week)

-Available: 6:45am - 7pm daily, weekends and holidays required. Our normal shifts are: 6:45am - 1pm, 1:00pm - 7:00pm, or 6:45am - 1pm and 3pm - 7pm.

 -Very reliable transportation

-Must be comfortable with pets and dogs of ALL sizes

-Duties include: Cleaning, caring for pets - cleaning, walking, feeding, and interacting, professional and friendly communication with customers, managing dogs of all temperaments, some dog baths

-Personality requirements: Upbeat, go-getter, organized, strong multi-tasker, works well individually or in a team environment, reliable

-Training provided

-Starting pay: $9-10 per hour

-Opportunities available for advancement within the company

-Employee Benefits: Holiday and Overtime pay. After probationary period an employee may receive a raise based on performance, free doggie daycare, and/or boarding for their pets. After 6 months with Pappy's, employee receives paid time off.
