Responsibilities

****This is a part-time position**** requires approximately 20 hours per week.

Support West Area Customer Service Finance team with operating expense and staffing management and budget planning.

Ad-hoc Area/Center/Workgroup reporting and analysis that enables key clients and West Area to meet KPI goals, targets or objectives.

Complete rate and volume variance analysis.

Proactively identify cost savings opportunities.

Regularly complete headcount and finance-related reporting and audits.

Provide actionable data to West Area leadership to facilitate decision-making.

Partnership with senior CS leadership, HQ CS, HR, and Area Finance.

Interact with all levels of leadership, as appropriate.

Qualifications

Education: Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Finance, Statistics or other related field

Knowledge of Verizon Customer Service organization and CS Key Performance Indicators strongly preferred

3-5 years of experience in the wireless industry or a call center environment

2+ years of General Ledger or Accounts Payable experience

Strong mathematical, statistical and/or financial background

Critical thinking and analytical skills

Thorough knowledge of desktop software packages designated as necessary to the job, such as Hyperion Essbase finance reporting system

Highly skilled in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint

Ability to plan, execute and deliver against goals

Proven ability to analyze, organize and integrate complex details into a clear, concise summary

Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and presentation skills

Strong time management and prioritization skills

Ability to act with a sense of urgency and appropriately escalate issues

Must be well-organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and demonstrate strong core values
