POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Crew Member is accountable for consistently preparing, stocking and serving a high quality product in line with company policies and ensuring a great guest experience at any time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Prepare our delicious food in a neat, accurate and timely manner.
*Consistency and a professional behavior are the keys to success.
*Prep our fresh veggies and meat.
*You are the face of the VertsKebap brand: you are part of the experience, you explain our food & history to guests.
Retain thorough knowledge of menu and beverage offerings.
*Welcome our guests and respond friendly and patiently to any questions our guests may have.
*Model and create a culture in which the guest is always right.
*Live and Teach the VertsKebap mission statement.
*Keep our restaurant clean and safe (in accordance with companys policy) and make it a great place to eat.
*Wash dishes and clean all equipment when the day is over.
*Help your colleagues with storing supplies and restocking storage.
*Follow and enforce the VertsKebap operational standards in every detail.
*You may be asked to perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
*Good verbal and written communication skills; bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
*Attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
*Passionate about creating a fun, warm, inviting, contemporary culture that provides the ultimate experience for the guest and work experience for the employees.
*Must have a positive attitude and ethics which support VertsKebap values and culture.
*Available 20-40 hours per week; able to work flexible hours necessary to manage and operate the restaurant effectively. This includes weekends and closing shifts as dictated by the restaurants needs.
*Flexible, knowing that a start-up operation must undergo change as the market/guest dictates.
*Ability to work extended periods of time standing.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
*Restaurant experience in quick service / fast casual / casual dining environment preferred (not a must)
*Food handler and TABC license
*High school degree
