About this job
Reporting to the Nurse Manager/Program Director, the certified nurse assistant/mental health worker will assist in the promotion, maintenance and restoration of health of patients assigned to his/her care. Responsibilities include assisting with ADL's, promoting wellness, health/education and clearly documenting patient activities.
uml Current California Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate preferred.
uml Current BLS (CPR) Certificate required.
uml Knowledge of Patient Rights.
uml Six months recent hospital (med/surg, and/or psych) experience required.
uml Knowledge of physiological changes that occur with patients age 55 plus.
uml Assaultive Behavior Management training required within 90 days from date of hire.
