About this job
The Cashier contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by processing all cash and checks, reconciled to the daily route activities of Full Service Vending, Conventional Bay and Bulk Delivery Drivers. This position is located at the Baldwin Park facility.
Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
Have a strong attention to detail to audit the Driver's end of day paperwork to identify any discrepancies and ensure compliance to PBC policies.
Enter and track daily route variances in the ESC Cashiering System. As well as have strong problem solving skills to work the Delivery team to address any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Provide a weekly review and analysis of non-compliant and variance trends
Communicate effectively with Delivery Drivers, Supervisors and Process Manager on the required processes for receipting funds and ensure cashiering is in compliance with PBC policy.
Process all Full Service Vending (FSV) coin; count, sort, wrap and box
Prepare and reconcile FSV coin floats and coin bags and prepare daily bank deposits for Conventional and FSV activity
Coordinate servicing of coin and cash office equipment and replenishment of supplies
Prepare all documents necessary and send the location's Cashier Workbook on a period basis to our Corporate Accounting Team.
Generate and reconcile ERT Reports on a period basis
Three years of relevant business experience preferred
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
Demonstrated ownership and initiative to ensure a safe and functional work environment within the cash office
Ability to work independently and under time constraints with minimal supervision
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Excellent communication skills - ability to influence others
Ability to lift approximately 5lb - 15lb coin bags and/or boxes
Must be able to work overtime as required, including Saturday of period ends
