About this job
A full-service acute care facility serving the residents of Tracy for over 50 years, Sutter Tracy Community Hospital has a total of 79 inpatient beds. The hospital provides Basic Emergency Medical Services in a 9 bed E.D., soon to be expanded to 15 beds, inpatient and ambulatory surgical services, medical surgical, telemetry and coronary care, diagnostic imaging, laboratory and rehabilitation services, including physical, speech and occupational therapy. Areas of specialized care include a Hemodialysis, Wound Care and Continence Center, and a Family Birth Center
Responsible for providing services to Sutter Tracy Community Hospital as defined by the guidelines provided by the State of California and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) which coincide with the policies of Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Master's degree in speech pathology.
Current and valid California license or RPE applicant to practice speech pathology. If an applicant, licensure must be obtained no later than 12 months from date of application.
Must demonstrate excellent written/verbal interpersonal communication and problem solving skills.
Current American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) membership.
Ability to read, write, hear and verbally communicate in English to the degree required to perform the job.
Must be able to travel in and out of San Joaquin County, including transcontinental travel. If STCH and/or own vehicle used on Association business, must possess valid California Driver's License and upon request proof of liability insurance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting.
