Locally owned upscale furniture and home decor consignment store has immediate opening for a retail sales associate. Some experience with furniture or home decor sales a plus but not required.
Job Responsibilities:
Serves customers by helping them select products.
Job Duties:
- Welcomes customers by greeting them; offering them assistance.
- Directs customers by escorting them to areas of interest; suggesting items.
- Advises customers by providing information on products.
- Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions.
- Handles incoming customer phone calls.
- Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, gift and credit card.
