About this job
Leading Internet Company is seeking a Sr. Accountant for yearlong engagement. As Sr. Accountant you will be responsible for month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations and general ledger related to payroll. In addition you will ensure compliance with internal controls related to SOX and ad hoc reporting. To be considered you must meet the minimum requirements to be considered;
- Bachelor's degree
- 4 years of experience as a Sr. Accountant working with payroll.
- Large corporate experience (Fortune 2000 or larger)
- Stock reconciliation experience.
- Working knowledge of SOX
- SAP strongly preferred.
- Ability to identify areas for process improvements
- Excellent communication skills
- Ablity to work with minimal supervision
