Prominent national insurance brokerage firm with offices around the country is seeking an Administrative Specialist for their Providence, RI location. The ideal candidate for this role will be a resourceful, self-starter and highly-organized team player with a strong work ethic, excellent time management and communication skills; must demonstrate a professional and friendly demeanor when interfacing with clients and co-workers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Create and issue certificates of insurance, evidence of property certificates and other documentation as required. Responsible for entering policy information into our insurance data management system as well as all billing and invoicing. Prepare endorsements to policies as required. Issue and mail policies to insureds. Answer incoming telephone phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate person. Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence. Scan documents as required. Handle requests from Account Managers and Account Executives as well as performing general administrative duties. Other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities HS Diploma required and/or Associate's Degree preferred Ability to work in a paperless environment have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong customer service skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to multitask. Insurance experience preferred but not required
