PrideStaff is seeking a number of drivers for a logistics client in Golden, CO. No OTR, much of the driving is shuttling loads within a geographically close proximity. Other trips are close enough to be completed within an 8 hour shift.
Job Description:
- Transports and delivers freight operating a tractor-trailer or other equipment
- Communicates with customers, employees and management to make sure requirements are met
- Operate material handling equipment to load or unload materials
- Perform pre-trip and post trip equipment inspections and document
- Performs basic equipment maintenance and repairs as directed
- Report equipment malfunctions
- Secure loads and ensure loads are within weight limits
- Maintain records when required for compliance and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately
Requirements:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Current DOT Medical Card Required
- One year of relevant experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
- Willingness to submit to background check and drug screen
