Key Lead

The Key Lead is a supervisor who focuses on the consumer, executes tasks and assists in hardware store operations including opening and closing tasks.

The ideal candidate for this position will:

• Instill the operating culture to offer legendary customer service
• Proficiently open and close the store according to policy and procedures
• Initiate, delegate and complete a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly task list
• Participate in store safety and training initiatives
• Resolve customer and employee concerns in timely and satisfactory manner according to company policies
• Set a positive example by following company procedures and positive communication
• Proficiency in the store checklists, Acenet, Eagle and POS computers
• Will be trained in all of the basic departments and services in the store including mix paint, cut keys, fill propane, cashiering, Ace return policy, stocking freight

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills including a positive “can do” attitude
• Punctual and reliable with open availability
• Ability to multi-task and delegate
• Willing to handle all requests or customer service issues promptly and professionally
• Home improvement knowledge a plus
• Ability to lift 20-40 pounds consistently throughout the day
