Project Manager (Pharmaceutical)

Experis Engineering has an immediate opening for a Pharmaceutical Project Manager. This is a 6 month contract position located in East Hanover, NJ. Local candidates preferred. The Pharmaceutical Project manager will support a local pharmaceutical company in a pending contract transition.

The Pharmaceutical Project Manager will possess the following:

• An excellent understanding of the clinical development process and the management of clinical trials.
• A deep understanding of common pricing and contracting models for clinical services.
• Exceptional financial understanding (understanding of cost drivers and benchmarks for clinical trials) as it relates to contacts and cost reductions; ability to speak intelligently regarding cost drivers and comparative analysis.
• Demonstrated ability of completing projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent influencing and negotiating skills.
• An unbeatable understanding of contracts (including basic legal understanding of terms and conditions).
• 5+ years' experience in Drug Development in Pharmaceutical Industry
• Pharmaceutical experience in outsourcing, contracting, sourcing, of clinical services
• Experience in proposals, business development, legal terms and conditions

The ideal Pharmaceutical Project Manager will have one or more of the following:

• Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• Commercial diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry within a contract management organization
