Administrative Assistant

PrideStaff seeks a sharp Administrative Assistant for a direct hire opportunity with our Alpharetta based client. Must be proficient with Excel and PowerPoint. Great, high visibility opportunity for an individual who desires a flexible schedule and independent role. In this position you will report directly to the Safety Manager. The pay is $15.00/hour and the company is willing to train the right person who has the basic qualifications and at least two years of experience in an admin role.

Description:

-Organize and administer the employee Reward and Recognition program
-Heavy reporting duties: Safety & Accident, work logs, insurance
-Work in Excel spreadsheets and utilize pivot tables to track information and data
-Effectively utilize Word, Outlook, PowerPoint to perform job functions
-Answer phone calls into the department
-Process incoming insurance claims
-Ship safety supplies to field managers
-Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

-Minimum of two years experience in an Administrative Assistant role
-Must be well organized, detailed and a self-starter
-Able to work independently with little supervision
-Proficient with Excel spreadsheets and pivot tables
-Comfortable with Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
-Answer phones
-Able to diffuse situations and find a resolution for incoming calls to the department
-Articulate and well-written
