Job Summary :

The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background and will be responsible for working with physicians to insure appropriate technology development, education, information and support. He/she will collaborate as a member of the informatics team, act as a liason between IT and the end user, prioritizes requests efficiently and assist with coordination, planning, design, development, implementation and evaluation of the clinical information system. The informaticist will be accountable for measurable improvements in clinician satisfaction with technology and in the use of the technology to facilitate best practices, promote patient safety, improve workflow, and reduce errors. Provides re-education and reinforcement of approved workflows and functionality.

Essential Duties :

Liasion between IT and the end user

Prioritize requests and assist with coordination, planning, design, development, implementation and evaluation of the clinical information system.

Education :

BSN

Experience :

3 years acute care expereince required

EMR experience preferred

License/Certification :

RN
