Network Support Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Network Support Specialist.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Must sit onsite in Culpeper, VA

*Need solid Nexus skills
2nd level support staff to configure , troubleshoot, monitor and report on Cisco router environment. "The qualifying candidate (depending on position) MUST be capable of hands on configuration, problem determination, problem management, installation of a primarily Cisco Nexus environment. The positions are for Router, Switch, firewall, F5 environments, but require the ability to adjust and support components across environments as required.

Additional details are as follows:
- Network Managementand Operations assistance.
- Checkpoint, Cisco Catalyst/Nexus/UCS/MDS, and F5s including ASMs
- Change management process, including representation on all CRM calls for each OPCO. This includes firewall tracking for internal (TCS managed) and external (SCA Managed) changes.
- Interface with Verizon for power, cabling and racking of all equipment.
- Maintenance/monitoring of all backups.
- DR test support, onsite in DRCW for pre-build, and onsite/remote support as needed during the testing.
- All operational troubleshooting, including escalations, Incident management tracking, and RCA support for major incidents.

There will be up to 2 months of skills transfer.
