Role Purpose
The Finance Coordinator will provide administrative assistance and support to the CFO for the NBC Sports Regional Networks as well as the VP of Finance & Accounting and the Sports Group Finance department.
Responsibilities
Responsible for professionally answering phones, preparing all correspondence and coordinating calendars, including meetings and appointments
Handle and coordinate confidential information with detail and due care
Prepare expense reports, presentations and order supplies as need for the Finance Department
Coordinate travel arrangements
Assist when appropriate in preparation and drafting of documents and presentations
Provide personal assistance on various projects and activities for the Finance department
Process departmental invoices and coordinate payments with accounts payable department
Additional duties as assigned Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications
Minimum 2 years administrative and general office experience
Bachelor's degree in related field
Very strong computer skills: PC experience (proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication and follow-up skills needed
Must be a team player
Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives a must
Solid writing and organization skills
Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
