Once Upon A Child is a resale retail store that offers customers a fun and convenient way to sell to us and buy from us, new and gently used children's clothing, toys and equipment.
Once Upon A Child in West Palm Beach is looking for outgoing, cheerful and motivated Sales Associates at an entry level position. Prior experience in a sales environment is a plus. A friendly and enthusiastic personality is desired. We are looking for people who are able to work days and nights as well as weekends. Duties include but are not limited to answering the telephone, greeting and assisting customers, buying and selling merchandise, tagging items, hanging clothing & shelving toys and equipment.
The right candidate(s) need to meet the following criteria:
1. Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
2. Basic math skills.
3. Ability to handle customers with sensitivity and respect.
4. Ability to work at a fast pace with accuracy.
5. Be honest and dependable.
6. Punctuality and reliability is important.
7. Ability to work independently.
8. Familiar with the notion, "The Customer is always Right!"
9. Must be able to lift 30 lbs comfortably.
10. Must be able to climb a ladder with ease.
