The Strategic Investments (SI) team oversees the firm's direct private equity investments in early stage companies that are strategically important to the franchise. The team is tasked with sourcing new investment opportunities, executing transactions and monitoring the investment portfolio of over 100 principal investments of JPMC. The focus areas for the group include financial technology startups, industry / marketplace initiatives, enterprise software and other strategically important vendors.

Job Summary

As the Executive Admin Assistant for the Strategic Investments Team, you will rely on excellent organizational skills to effectively support a wide range of high priority business activities. Duties will include coordinating activities with internal senior management across lines of business and the executive teams of startup companies (the team regularly meets over 500 companies per year); actively managing a dynamic meeting calendar for senior team members; coordinating group activities; managing domestic and international business travel; ordering and maintaining supplies; and submitting expenses. A proactive approach and a focus on efficiency and prioritization will be greatly valued by the team, and a desire to learn and take on more responsibility will lead to a rewarding career experience.

The successful candidate will have a high attention to detail, a team mentality, remained poised during dynamic situations, and will take ownership of keeping the entire team on track.

Key Responsibilities

Manage calendar, handle meeting set up/physical logistics, and conference call arrangements. Work effectively with other administrators and meeting participants to efficiently and effectively schedule meetings. Be aware of conflicts and meetings and proactively keep team members on time and aware of updates, working around conflicts in a skilled manner. Experienced working with frequent traveler executives.

Process timely and accurate T&E expense reports Management and maintenance of confidentiality of personal information (frequent flyer travel numbers, personal travel preferences, professional contacts lists, professional contact maintenance, industry involvement preferences, etc.). Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism/polish in executive interactions internally and externally, and the ability to work well with others.

Perform routine tasks such as those related to monthly staff meeting communications/dial-ins/room set up; handle regular activities without prompting, and advise in advance with issues or delays. Provide regular status updates if work is outstanding The typical work day will be from 8am to 5pm, with overtime opportunities given business requirements and availability.

Skills Required:

MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Support internal CRM built in Sharepoint (logging meetings, adding companies, creating reports) Ability to quickly learn other software used by team (ex.
