About this job
I'm looking for hands-on care for my father in his 80s for two days a week during the day in my home. The duties would include bathing help, breakfast and lunch prep, help him with diabetic testing and administering insulin at meal time. He is unable to walk, but can transfer. Therefore he needs help (he sits on his walker) getting to/from the bathroom. Light house work as well.
He really needs companionship. We have had other providers that just sat there watching TV during the day and would hardly even talk with him or interact. When a senior is unable to walk they need to be able to do more than watch TV. He loves playing board games and Nerf basketball.
