Area Coach (District Manager) – Dayton, Ohio

As Area Coach, you have an ownership mentality and oversee 6-8 Tim Hortons restaurants (including a Training Store) and new store openings.  Your role is to lead your Team to deliver operational excellence in all aspects of the business including customer service, employee management, and financial results.  Expectations are focused and clear, and you are recognized for your performance and results.

Area Coaches set specific goals and plans for their restaurants, and are experts in Tim Hortons procedures and systems.  You are expected to provide ongoing support on a daily basis, with broad areas of responsibility including:

• Performance reporting and management
• Maintaining standards
• Reinforcing initiatives
• Developing managers
• Handling sensitive HR & guest issues

You are an employee advocate and are empowered to build your Team by identifying, hiring and developing the right people with help from Tim Hortons training systems.  Your daily routine will include coaching, evaluations, recognition and performance management.  You will develop our next generation of Tim Hortons leaders to fuel our continued growth.

Operational metrics and financial results are important for our continued success.  You will have the resources and support to understand where you stand at all times, so you can make the right decisions.  You are business manager with an ownership mentality, focused on clearly defined goals.
