The Business Analysis Coordinator is responsible for assisting claims, systems management and operations, and the IT department in the operation, maintenance, and performance of business operating systems. The Systems Specialist will also provide support of clinical and business office data processing functions. Primary Responsibilities:

Assists with performing data and root cause analysis of business / systems processes related to WellMed Member eligibility
Serves as first tier contact via ticketing system support in responding to and diagnosing application software support problems
Assists the Claims and Medical Management areas by providing support with regard to any eligibility verifications or issues
Works with Systems Specialist to load EDI eligibility data received from HMOs into system
Load and maintain member special status flags
Performs all other related duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
Two or more years’ experience in a health care environment
Excellent customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with healthcare claims or eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare or related field (2 additional years of comparable work experience beyond the required years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree)
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
