GENERAL DESCRIPTION/PRIMARY PURPOSE :

Oversees and manages all systems activities within the Distribution Center. Manages the computer operations, Data Center activities, system upgrades and enhancements as well as ongoing maintenance. Supervises the clerical staff involved in daily data entry. Manages equipment inventory and coordinates software and hardware installations. Oversees ticket and distribution printing processes, output matching, report delivery, equipment maintenance and reporting. Oversees all Systems Support activities including, but are not limited to, SCAN warehouse management system, Sortation Systems, Voice Systems and Labor Management Systems. Manages the timely reporting, escalation and resolution of all system related issues. Understands relationships and interfaces between systems and platforms. Requires excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate changes to management, peers, and subordinates. Understand the Databases used in all systems. Supervisory experience with networks and problem solving. Solid verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/TASKS ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. years of supervisory or management experience

Understanding of system functionality of all systems used in the DC including, but not limited to:

• Warehouse Management systems
• Sortation systems
• Voice systems
• Labor Management systems

Ability to communicate changes to management, peers, and subordinates

Understand the Databases used in all systems Data Center

Understand TAGS

Understand Meto printer operation

Understand the process of matching tickets, distro’s to headers

Labor management system

Understand the interface to the system

Supervise the clerical staff involved in data entry of daily logs

Each DC should have an LMS lead on each shift

Basic network set-up in the DC

Manage equipment inventory

Monitor storage and tracking of handheld devices

Understand maintenance processes on all systems and equipment

Work with software and equipment vendors when required

Coordinate DC Systems activities relative to software and hardware installations
