Quality Assurance Technician

Quality assurance technicians needed for various levels within a food manufacturing facility in the Ontario area.

Technician: $16/hour, Monday-Friday schedule, must be open to working second or third shift. Previous QA/QC experience required, preferably within a food facility. Contract-to-hire.

Supervisor: $20/hour, Monday-Friday schedule, first shift (mornings). Previous QA/QC experience required within food facility, as well as supervisory experience. 4 month contract.

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for monitoring the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conducting scheduled facility observation checks.
• Enforce GMP's, HACCP, SOP's and Food Safety regulations and policies.
• Monitor product and facility temperature from receiving to shipping.
• Verify HACCP checks are being conducted according to plant HACCP plan.
• Work with production to assure that all products are produced up to specification.
• Apply RHD program if not in compliance.
• Conduct organoleptic testing on raw materials and raw products throughout the entire production process.
• Conduct package quality inspection and quality audits and isolate product that does not meet standards.
