Join us and help people live healthier lives while doing your life's best work. Positions in this function include those responsible for initiation and management of State member assessments, working with Nursing Facility providers, State Regional offices, and Clinical team. Primary Responsibilities:
Extensive work experience with Medicaid community
May act as a resource for others
Maintain 100% adherence to State contract, CMS
requirements, and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan Performance
and Quality metrics around goals.
100% adherence to submission timelines of scheduled
department reports, assigned metrics and state deliverables.
100% adherence to submission deadlines on complaints.
Meet State Partner and Internal expectation on
timeliness & quality of interactions with members and providers.
Demonstrate compliance in the urgency of all Star+Plus
State & internal deadlines.
Act as an advocate for membership and establish
effective working relationships with our providers to service our members,
ensuring all federal, state and company regulations, policies, and
expectations are followed.
High level of contact and interaction with regulatory
agencies and various business segments to investigate and resolve complex
issues
Utilize job aids/resources and critical thinking skills
at all times to perform job duties
Provide excellent customer service
Timely response to care coordination team needs that
are received via email
Collaborate with Service Coordinator staff to obtain
case clarification, answer questions, case escalation
Escalate issues which cannot be resolved by team to
Leadership
Provide clear and accurate documentation
Strong attention to detail
Self-motivated/Self Starter
Ability to take ownership of assignments
Show great accountability for work
Manage administrative tasks as assigned
Punctual/Consistent Attendance is essential
Organize work and develop strategies to adapt to
constantly changing environment, while open to other job duties as
assigned

Requirements

Requirements:High School Diploma/GEDComfortable working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm with OT as needed 2+ years of clerical or administrative work experience2+ years of experience using the telephone and computer as primary instruments to perform job dutiesExperience navigating a PC and utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) in a professional settingExperience with computers and Windows PC applications (this includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications)Preferred Qualifications:Medicare and/or Medicaid experienceHealthcare or Insurance Benefits experienceCareers at UnitedHealthcare Community & State.
